Absolutely incredible food! If I could give 10 stars I would. 4 of us dined here on Saturday evening for a birthday celebration and it did not disappoint. I lived in Thailand for years and eaten a lot of authentic Thai food, this was by far the best Thai food I have had since I have been back. I have tried lots of different Thai restaurants around but Thai nong khai is by far the best. My partner ordered the tamarind duck, which he was sceptical about as often the duck fat is not rendered and is chewy! He loved it and the duck was rendered to perfection whilst still tender. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and will be returning very soon. I ordered the weeping tiger which was absolutely delicious, tender and full of flavour. Our friends thoroughly enjoyed it too who have also spent a lot of time in Asia so we all really appreciated the flavours and authentic Thai tastes. Hope this restaurant sticks around.

We've enjoyed several lovely takeaways from Thai Nong Khai in the past, but this was our first time dining in and it exceeded all our expectations. The atmosphere inside the restaurant is warm and welcoming, with attentive service that made us feel right at home. As always, the food was absolutely amazing. Every dish was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The highlight for us was the Pad Thai - perfectly balanced, with just the right amount of sweetness and spice. You can really taste the care and authenticity in every bite. We even got to meet the lovely lady that does the cooking! Highly recommend both the dine-in experience and takeaway.

We tried Thai Nong Khai for the first time this evening. We ordered two chicken pad thai dishes and were given free prawn/sweet chilli crackers. The pad thai was absolutely lovely! The sauce that the noodles was in was really sweet and spicy and there was loads of it! There was also lots of crunchy beansprouts, carrot and delicious scrambled egg. Everything was scorching hot and we knew it was fresh as we could hear it all being cooked right in front us. We really liked that the dishes came customisable with little pots of crushed peanuts and chilli powder that were included in our bag, which we added on before eating. The lady who served us was extremely friendly. She said that they open fully for takeaway on the 1st of November and will have a more extensive menu. They take cash or card payment. We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner and will definitely be ordering again soon!

We recently discovered this newly opened Thai restaurant, and it’s quickly become one of our favorites! We've already returned multiple times because the food is absolutely incredible. The staff are genuinely sweet and accommodating, clearly putting a lot of care into both the dishes and the overall dining experience. Prices are very reasonable—especially their lunchtime deals—yet the quality remains top-notch. I highly recommend trying their Pad Thai along with the Thai Matcha Iced Tea. This place is a true gem, and I can’t recommend it enough!

We ate at the Thai nong khai for the first time and it was delicious. As parents we don’t get out a lot and this is was a great choice to spend our date night. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. The food was delicious, everything we had was just yummy and well presented. Got to comment on their own gins they make, wow the strawberry and lemon grass was amazing. We will definitely be coming back on our next child free night!! Thank you again

First time trying this place tonight. I was asked how hot I’d like my dish (the salad shown) and as I’m often disappointed with how hot things are (or aren’t) I said hot. The person taking my order double checked that I was sure. She was right to check that I really meant it. It exceeded expectations, full of flavour and it packed a LOT of heat. We also had noodles, a very mild curry and some fried tofu - all were really good. Definitely worth a try.

We had a lovely first visit to Thai Nong Khai! Lovely restaurant decor and a warm and friendly welcome. We had already studied the menu on line but were grateful for extra guidance from the staff. The service was excellent - calm, efficient, non intrusive, prompt and friendly. The food was beautifully presented and the flavours were so fresh, varied and interesting. We particularly enjoyed the pad thai and the pineapple rice served in half a pineapple (and not out of a tin!). All in all a very enjoyable evening and we felt we were eating authentic Thai food for the first time! We look forward to our next visit!
